Common Sense Alert

My intention is to express common sense views about what I see as the most pressing health IT issues* of the day. I readily acknowledge that I will sometimes be neither common nor sensical, but I hope to at least hold your attention.

I welcome alternate views--especially if they are concrete suggestions for improving patient outcomes.

It won't take long for you to figure out that these are uniquely my views, not those of my employer, colleagues or clients (current, past or future)--even if they should be.

*Generally, helping providers be more effective with patients, and prodding the health IT community to protect patient privacy and safety.
